Overview

This section provides everything you need to start debugging and monitoring your Kotlin apps and SDKs using the Kotzilla Platform.

You will learn

• How to get started: Kotzilla lets you create an account and configure the SDK in two ways, depending on your workflow:

  • Using the Koin IDE Plugin inside Android Studio or IntelliJ IDEA
  • Via the Kotzilla Console for a web-based onboarding experience

• How to set up the Kotzilla SDK for your application type:

  • Android
  • Android with Compose
  • Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
  • Compose Multiplatform (CMP)
  • SDK Library for Android

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have access to the project files for the Android app, KMP app, CMP app, or SDK library you want to monitor with Kotzilla.

Technical requirements

Breaking Change in SDK 2.0.x

Koin 4.0.4 is now required. Projects using Koin 3.x must upgrade before updating to SDK 2.0.x. See migration guide.

The Kotzilla Platform currently supports projects using:

• Kotlin 2.1.0 – 2.3.0
• Koin 4.0.4 and above
• Compose 1.8+
• AGP 8.4.0 – 8.13.0
• Gradle 8.6 – 9.3
